Abstract:
To suppress surface strain of a circumference of an embossed portion and to simply constitution of a press forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A press forming apparatus 1 is provided that comprises:, at a top part 5 provided in a forming region R, a punch 2 having protruding parts 5a and a recessed part 5b surrounded by the protruding parts 5a; a die 3 opposing to the top part 5 of the punch 2; and a particle fixing part 10 provided at the protruding parts 5a of the punch 2. The particle fixing part 10 has a particle whose Vickers hardness is 700 HV or more and a holding layer holding the particle, wherein height of the holding layer relative to an average particle diameter of the particle is in the range of 50-80%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
