Abstract:
To provide a hub unit with a steering function and a vehicle provided with the same enabling an entire hub unit to be compact while securing the rigidity of a unit supporting member provided on an underbody frame component.SOLUTION: This hub unit with a steering function includes: a hub unit main body 2 that includes a hub bearing 15 and steering shafts which protrude upwardly and downwardly, respectively; a unit supporting member 3 that supports the hub unit main body 2 so as to be rotatable around the axes of the upper and lower steering shafts; and a steering actuator. The unit supporting member 3 is divided into: a unit supporting member main body 3A that supports the hub unit main body 2 so as to be freely assembled or detached except a part of each steering shaft; and a unit supporting member coupling body 3B which is coupled to the unit supporting member main body 3A, supports the remaining part of each steering shaft, and prevents the hub unit main body 2 from being detached from the unit supporting member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
