Abstract:
To provide a brake device which can suppress the generation of a cronk sound, and an electric brake device.SOLUTION: A brake device 1 comprises an inner brake pad 13 and an outer brake pad 14 for pressing a disc D which rotates together with the rotation of wheels, and a control device 16 for controlling the pressurization of the inner brake pad 13 and the outer brake pad 14 according to a brake requirement. When a vehicle speed or a wheel speed (vehicle speed V) is equal to a prescribed speed (speed threshold Va) or lower, and there is no brake requirement, the control device 16 makes the inner brake pad 13, the outer brake pad 14 and the disc D contact with one another by using a pressing force which does not contribute to a brake.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
