Abstract:
To form a spacious trunk compartment floor in a cabin, so that loading and unloading of baggage is facilitated.SOLUTION: A front seat 31 can be folded by tilting a seatback 33 forward so that the seatback is put on top of a seat cushion 32. A rear seat 39 can be folded by tilting a seatback 41 forward so that the seatback is put on top of a seat cushion 40. With the front seat 31 and the rear seat 39 folded, a trunk compartment board 49 is put so as to span a gap formed between a back face of the seatback 33 of the front seat 31 and a back face of the seatback 41 of the rear seat 39, thus enabling a trunk compartment floor 53 to spread from a front pillar 12 to a rear pillar 14. This not only enables formation of the spacious trunk compartment floor 53 in the cabin, so that much baggage can be loaded, but also enables facilitation of loading and unloading of the baggage through a wide door opening 15 without a center pillar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
