Abstract:
To alleviate a load of a power source by reducing the power of an oil pump.SOLUTION: This drive unit 1 for a vehicle comprises: a power source 2 for generating power for making a vehicle travel; an oil pump 8 driven by the power source 2; an automatic transmission 10 for gear-changing an output of the power source 2, and transmitting it to a wheel side; lubrication means 42 for supplying oil to at least either of a lubricated part or a cooled part of the automatic transmission 10; a pressure accumulator 48 in which pressure is accumulated by the oil discharged from the oil pump 8; changeover means 46 for selectively connecting a discharge part of the oil pump 8 to the lubrication means 42 or the pressure accumulator 48; changeover control means 80 for controlling the changeover means 46 so that the discharge part is connected to the lubrication means 42 when the gear change is not performed, and the discharge part is connected to the pressure accumulator 48 when an upshift is performed; and gear change control means 55 for controlling a gear change of the automatic transmission 10 by using hydraulic pressure which is accumulated in the pressure accumulator 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
