Abstract:
To provide a valve component capable of improving corrosion resistance of a valve body at low cost, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A valve component 30 fixes a metal valve body 5 to a tip part of a metal valve shaft 6. The valve body 5 has a substantially truncated cone shape and comprises an open hole 5a, an outer peripheral surface 5b, an upper bottom surface 5c, and a lower bottom surface 5d, and the lower bottom surface 5d has an outer diameter larger than that of the upper bottom surface 5c. The tip part of the valve shaft 6 is inserted into the open hole 5a of the valve body 5, and between the lower bottom surface 5d of the valve body 5 and a tip 6b of the valve shaft 6, a welded part 21 is formed with welding. An oxide film 25 having an oxygen content of 1% or more is formed on the outer peripheral surface 5b of the valve body 5 with heat of welding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
