Abstract:
To obtain a brake device having a novel constitution in which, for example, further size reduction becomes possible, and which is further suppressed in a malfunction.SOLUTION: A motion conversion mechanism of a brake device includes a rotating member and a linear motion member which linearly moves accompanied by the rotation of the rotating member. The rotating member is rotationally driven via a third gear. A male screw and a female screw are engaged with each other at a side opposite to a brake shoe of the third gear, one end of an operation member receives a force for operating the brake shoe from the linear motion member, and the other end operates the brake shoe. A guide member for guiding the operation member slidably guides the operation member which is constituted of a material different from that of the rotating member to an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
