Abstract:
To provide an all-solid battery superior to known batteries and known all-solid batteries.SOLUTION: An all-solid battery arranged so as to use a boron composite as a solid electrolyte comprises: a positive electrode (a current collector 4 and an oxide material 1); a negative electrode (a current collector 4 and a metallic lithium 2); and a boron solid electrolyte 3. With the all-solid battery, the following effects are confirmed: the safety is improved and thus, any of the leakage, vaporization and ignition of an electrolyte solution do not occur; an ultra fast charging operation arranged to charge the battery in several minutes is enabled; the energy density is increased largely; the self discharge is decreased remarkably; the degree of freedom in battery design; the achievement of a multilayer is enabled and so, the battery can be used as a component or member which can be surface-mounted on a board; the battery capacity is enlarged by 50%, which enables a fast charge; and the high endurance of recharge is achieved and as such, the battery is not degraded even if recharged 200,000 times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
