Abstract:
To provide an air blower capable of improving efficiency of assembly work.SOLUTION: An air blower comprises a fan 4 including: a disc-shaped main plate 41 which is fixed to a drive shaft in a state where its central axis is made coaxial with the drive shaft; and multiple blades disposed in parallel with the central axis of the main plate 41 toward a bottom face side of an air blower body in an outer periphery of the main plate 41. A motor includes a motor fixing part which can be screwed and fixed from the bottom face side of the air blower body to a top face of the air blower body by a motor mounting screw. On the main plate 41, a main plate opening 41a is formed in an area corresponding to the motor fixing part for fixing the motor with the top face of the air blower body. The main plate opening is formed while including an area in which a distance to the drive shaft is equal to a distance between the drive shaft and the motor mounting screw. A fan casing 5 is disposed at a position where the fan casing is not overlapped with the motor, closer to the top face of the air blower body than the fan 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
