Abstract:
To provide an elastic member having high durability, and capable of properly reducing backlash between an external tooth member and an internal tooth member.SOLUTION: An elastic member for reducing backlash of an external tooth member having a plurality of external teeth and an internal tooth member having a plurality of internal teeth engaged with the plurality of external teeth of the external tooth member, includes an elastic deformation portion disposed between a first tooth surface as a tooth surface of one of the external tooth and the internal tooth and a second tooth surface as a tooth surface of the other of the external tooth and the internal tooth opposed to the first tooth surface, the elastic deformation portion including a pair of first contact portions formed separately along a tooth trace direction of the first tooth surface and respectively kept into contact with the first tooth surface, a second contact portion kept into contact with the second tooth surface, and a pair of inclination portions respectively extended between the corresponding first contact portion and the second contact portion and inclined in directions opposite to each other to the first and second tooth surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
