Abstract:
To reduce exposure quantity in scanography.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus in an embodiment includes an X-ray generation unit, an X-ray detection unit, and a control unit. The X-ray generation unit generates an X-ray to be radiated to a subject. The X-ray detection unit detects an X-ray transmitting the subject. The control unit is provided between the X-ray generation unit and the X-ray detection unit in scanography, and controls irradiation of an X-ray in a horizontal direction, which is a direction parallel to a coronal plane of the subject, and intersecting with a body axis of the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
