Abstract:
To provide a thermal energy recovery device capable of discriminating whether or not lubricant is supplied from an oil separator to an expander.SOLUTION: An oil detection device 8 for detecting a presence or non-presence of lubricant separated by an oil separator 7 and supplied to an expander 2 comprises a first and a second light transmission parts 11,12 for transmitting light inside or outside of an oil supply pipe 10 for supplying lubricant from the oil separator 7 to the expander 2, a light outgoing radiator 14 for radiating light toward the first light transmission part 11, and a light receiver 15 for receiving light radiated from the light outgoing radiator 14 through the second light transmission part 12. The light outgoing radiator 14 is arranged to face against an orientation to inflect when the light radiated from said light outgoing radiator 14 passes through the first light transmission part 11 and incidents into the lubricant. The light receiver 15 is arranged at a position where a presence or non-presence of received light is influenced in reference to the presence or non-presence of inflection of light radiated from the light outgoing radiator 14. An oil detection device 8 detects a presence or non-presence of lubricant supplied to the expander 2 in reference to a presence or non-presence of received light by the light receiver 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
