Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery negative electrode, capable of achieving both suppression of deterioration in cycle characteristics and suppression of deterioration in charge depth in performing fast charge.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery negative electrode which includes: mixing graphite, silicon oxide, carbon nanotubes, a binding material, and a solvent to prepare a paste: applying the paste on the surface of a negative electrode current collector; and applying a magnetic field on the paste that has been applied on the surface of the negative electrode current collector, thereby orienting an edge face of the graphite to face the negative electrode current collector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
