Abstract:
To prevent a replacing cycle for a bearing supporting a rotor shaft of a screw rotor from becoming short even if a rotating speed under a no-load operation is increased.SOLUTION: A rotating speed of an engine 50 under no-load operation can be changed over by a rotating speed changing-over switch 21, a receiver tank 60 and an intake flow passage 37 of a compressor main body 30 are communicated by a negative pressure dampening flow passage 82, and in the case of no-load operation, compressed gas in the receiver tank 60 is fed into the intake flow passage 37 of the compressor main body 30. Feeding of compressed gas with respect to the intake flow passage 37 is carried out only through a main flow passage 82a when the no-load rotating speed is set to a low speed, and when it is set to the high speed, it is carried out through both the main flow passage 82a and a sub-flow passage 83b, an amount of fed compression gas is increased to cause a pressure difference between the suction side and the discharging side of the compressor main body 30 to be dampened more, thereby a load applied to the bearing is reduced to prevent a replacing cycle of the bearing from being short as the high speed rotation occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
