Abstract:
To provide a gear device that can restrain an outflow of a lubricant.SOLUTION: A gear device comprises a motor 10 comprising a motor shaft 10b, a gear mechanism 12, and a coupling 16 connecting the motor shaft 10b and an input shaft of the gear mechanism 12, and also comprises a first space 50 housing the gear mechanism 12 and in which a lubricant 60 is retained, and a communication passage 56 allowing communication between the first space 50 and a second space 52 housing the coupling 16. A shield member 54 is provided between the gear mechanism 12 and the communication passage 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
