Abstract:
To provide a heat treatment furnace capable of securing a sufficient flow rate by reducing flow passage resistance around opening parts without increasing a casing size.SOLUTION: A heat treatment furnace 1 comprises: a casing 3; a heat treatment chamber 5 arranged in the casing; opening parts 11, 12 provided at mutually confronted positions in the heat treatment chamber; and covers 13, 14 for closing the opening parts. The heat treatment furnace 1 includes: a cover opening/closing mechanism 10 moving the covers to a closed position A closing the opening parts or an open position B opening the opening parts; and a cover carrier mechanism 20 carrying the covers to the open position or a retreat position E in which the covers are not superimposed with the opening parts. The cover carrier mechanism includes: a cover guide part 21 guiding the covers; and a cover carrier part 30 carrying the covers between the open position and the retreat position, and the cover guide part extends along a circumferential direction in a gap part 4 formed between the casing and the heat treatment chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
