Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a purified fluoropolymer in which the number of terminal groups capable of fluorination has been reduced.SOLUTION: The method for producing a purified fluoropolymer is characterized by comprising: step (a), in which a fluoropolymer is melted to give a molten fluoropolymer; step (b), in which reaction-inhibiting substances are diminished from the molten fluoropolymer; step (c), in which after step (b), the molten fluoropolymer is brought into contact with an active substance; and step (d), in which after the step (c), volatile matter is removed from the molten fluoropolymer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
