Abstract:
To properly detect an abnormality of a DC voltage detector of an electric power conversion system.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion system 100 with a converter 2 and an inverter 3 is constructed to comprise a smoothing capacitor 22, a smoothing capacitor 23, a DC voltage detector 25 for detecting a potential difference of the smoothing capacitor 22, a DC voltage detector 26 for detecting a potential difference of the smoothing capacitor 23, and an abnormality determination device 72 which calculates a first type index appearing as the same direction change even if a detection abnormality in which a detection value changes in a prescribed direction occurs in either one of the DC voltage detector 25 and the DC voltage detector 26, calculates a second type index appearing as a different direction change depending on that the detection abnormality in which the detection value changes in the prescribed direction occurs in either one of the DC voltage detector 25 and the DC voltage detector 26, and determines that an abnormality occurs in either one of the DC voltage detector 25 and the DC voltage detector 26 based on the first type index and the second type index.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
