Abstract:
To improve operability when handling volume data.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus according to one embodiment comprises an image data generation unit, a rendering processing unit, and an image data processing unit. The image data generation unit generates volume data of a subject on the basis of a result of ultrasound scanning of the subject. The rendering processing unit renders the volume data along a plurality of rays to generate a rendering image. The image data processing unit, each time a relative positional relationship between the volume data and the plurality of rays is changed, executes a process of lowering the voxel value of each voxel inside or outside a three-dimensional region corresponding to a specific ray among the plurality of rays, a process of deleting the data inside or outside the three-dimensional region, or a process of lowering the opacity inside or outside the three-dimensional region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
