Abstract:
To provide an electrostatic adsorber capable of simultaneously adsorbing a plurality of conductive particles.SOLUTION: An electrostatic adsorber 1 comprises a reference electrode 4 for applying a reference potential to conductive particles P in a housing part 2, an adsorption electrode 3 having an insulation coating 32, a switch SW for turning on and off an application of adsorption voltage to the adsorption electrode 3, and an arm member 5 for moving the adsorption electrode 3. The adsorption voltage is applied to the adsorption electrode 3 when the adsorption electrode 3 is at an adsorption position in which they are close to or in contact with the conductive particles P, thereby causing a prescribed number of conductive particles p among the conductive particles P to be adsorbed to the adsorption electrode 3. Afterwards, the adsorption electrode 3 is moved from the adsorption position to a retreat position, thereby causing the prescribed number of conductive particles p adsorbed on the adsorption electrode 3 to be separated from the other conductive particles p among the conductive particles P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
