Abstract:
To provide a hinge with a rotary damper which achieves large relaxation performance to prevent rapid falling of a lid body during closing operation of the lid body and achieves relatively small relaxation performance to enable the lid body to be opened with light force during opening operation.SOLUTION: A hinge with a rotary damper has a cylinder member 11, a shaft member 12, a piston member C, rotation torque control means A, and fluid damper means B. The rotation torque control means A has: a cam part 12n provided at an end part of the shaft member 12; a cam follower part 13n provided at an end part of the piston member C; and an elastic member 15 which biases the piston member C to cause the cam follower part 13n to make pressure contact with the cam part 12n. The fluid damper means B comprises: a first fluid chamber S1 which is provided at the shaft member 12 side; a second fluid chamber S2 provided at the opposite side of the first fluid chamber S1 across the piston member C; a first passage G1 formed between an outer periphery of the piston member C and an inner periphery of the cylinder member 11; a second passage G2 provided at the piston member C; and a valve body 18 which blocks the second passage G2 according to an opening/closing direction of the lid body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
