Abstract:
To provide a composition useful for manufacturing a light-emitting element excellent in the luminance life.SOLUTION: Provided is a composition for a light-emitting element containing a host material and a guest material. The host material is a compound that contains at least one selected from the group consisting of aromatic hydrocarbon groups and heterocyclic groups. The guest material is a compound that has a condensed heterocyclic group containing in the ring a boron atom and at least one selected from the group consisting of an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a selenium atom, an spcarbon atom and a nitrogen atom. The difference ΔE between the energy value of the maximum peak in the emission spectrum of the host material at 25°C and the energy value of the peak on the lowest energy side in the absorption spectrum of the guest material at 25°C is 0.50 eV or less. The difference ΔS between the energy value of the maximum peak in the emission spectrum of the guest material at 25°C and the energy value of the maximum peak in the emission spectrum of the guest material at 77 K is 0.10 eV or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
