Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of detecting abnormality of an output voltage value of a gate driver IC for a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a liquid crystal panel 1 having a plurality of gate wirings 5, a gate driver IC 3a, and a gate driver IC 3b, and can be in a first state and a second state. In the first state, outN (N=1, 2, 3, ...) terminals of the gate driver IC 3a and an output part 11 are connected, and the gate driver IC 3a performs voltage output operation; and outN (N=1, 2, 3, ...) terminals of the gate driver IC 3b and a detection part 12 are connected, and the gate driver IC 3b performs abnormality detection operation to detect abnormality of an output voltage value of the gate driver IC 3a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
