Abstract:
To provide: a sediment discharge device, which is made compact to secure working spaces in a shaft, and can readily follow the change of the shaft's depth with advancing excavation; and a track extension method for the sediment discharge device, which can readily follow the change of the shaft's depth with advancing excavation.SOLUTION: A sediment discharge device 10 comprises a track part 11 which consists of a first track component 31 positioned on the ground outside a shaft T and second track component 32 connected to the first track component 31 and positioned inside the shaft T. A traveling bucket 13 is capable of moving back and forth along the track part 11 between the bottom of the shaft T and the surface ground. The connection between the first track component 31 and the second track component 32 being disconnected, the first track component 31 is risen upward away from the second track component 32 which is retained in position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
