Abstract:
To provide a vane pump which can alleviate an impact when air bubbles mixed into fluid are crushed while suppressing an increase in its scale.SOLUTION: In a vane pump 1, fluids are sucked from suction ports 41, 42 into a plurality of pump chambers P which are sectioned by vanes 6 which are accommodated in respective slits 50 by the rotation of a rotor 5 in which a plurality of the slits 50 are radially formed, and the fluids are discharged from discharge ports 43, 44. At side faces 6b of the vanes 6 opposing to the inner faces 50a of the slits 50 of the rotor 5, guide faces 61 in slide-contact with inner faces 50a of the slits 50 extend in a radial direction of the rotor 6 and are formed in a belt shape, and recesses 60 recessed in plate thickness directions of the vanes 6 are provided at portions except for the guide faces 61. The recesses 60 are at least partly located outside the slits 50, in a process in which the air bubbles contained in the fluids in the pump chamber P are crushed by a rise of pressure in the pump chamber P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
