Abstract:
To provide a drive unit for an electric vehicle which can motorize a vehicle while responding to a drive torque requirement and an output requirement which are required for a commercial vehicle, and also responding to a traveling control requirement under a variety of traveling conditions, and a control device for the electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device for an electric vehicle includes a first drive part arranged at a first drive shaft being one of a plurality of the drive shafts, and a second drive part arranged at a second drive shaft being one of the plurality of drive shafts. The first drive part comprises a first drive force generation part for generating drive force for driving the electric vehicle, and a rotation number adjustment mechanism arranged between a first differential part connected to the first drive shaft and the first drive force generation part. The second drive part comprises a second drive force generation part for generating drive force for driving the electric vehicle, and a multistage gear change mechanism arranged between a second differential part connected to the second drive shaft and the second drive force generation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
