Abstract:
To provide a buffer capable of easily increasing a closed area where a shutter closes a passage such as a bypass passage formed in a piston rod and communicating an extension side chamber and a compression side chamber.SOLUTION: A buffer comprises: a bypass passage B that opens from the side of a piston rod 3 and communicates an extension side chamber L1 and a compression side chamber L2 partitioned by a piston 2 in a cylinder 1; a shutter 6 mounted on the outer periphery of the piston rod 3 so as to be movable in the axial direction to open and close the bypass passage B; and a coil spring 7 that connects a rod guide 4 mounted to one end of the cylinder 1 and a shutter 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
