Abstract:
To disclose one or more suspension systems of a vehicle and an active suspension.SOLUTION: One or more suspension systems of a vehicle is used to mitigate motion sickness by limiting motion within one or more frequency ranges. An active suspension is integrated with an autonomous vehicle architecture. In yet another embodiment, the active suspension system of the vehicle may be used to induce motion in a vehicle. The vehicle is used as a testbed for technical investigation and/or as a platform to enhance enjoyment of video and/or audio by vehicle occupants. The active suspensions system is used to perform gestures as means of communication with persons inside or outside the vehicle. In some embodiments, the active suspensions system is used to generate haptic warnings to a vehicle operator or other persons in response to specific road situations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
