Abstract:
To provide a solid oxide electrolysis cell excellent in stability with its catalytic activity not easily deteriorating with the passage of time while in use, an electrolysis system using the same, a method of producing carbon monoxide, a method of producing hydrogen, and a method of producing carbon monoxide and hydrogen.SOLUTION: There are provided a solid oxide electrolysis cell 1 comprising a cathode 12 exclusively made from a solid oxide, an anode 14, and an electrolyte layer 10, with the electrolyte layer 10 disposed between the cathode 12 and the anode 14, and the solid oxide including a solid oxide having a spinel structure, an electrolysis system employing the solid oxide electrolysis cell 1, a method of producing carbon monoxide, a method of producing hydrogen, and a method of producing carbon monoxide and hydrogen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
