Abstract:
To provide an information processing device and an information processing method for achieving both the shortening of a recovery time and the reduction of power consumption in accordance with a user's use state and a time zone scheduled to be used.SOLUTION: An information processing device is provided with a processor. The processor is configured so as to become a first sleep state in the case of becoming an idle state from an active state, shift to a second sleep state having a recovery time to an active state longer than the first sleep state if a user's operation is not during a first idle time in the case of becoming the first sleep state after a use start scheduled time set in advance and before a use end scheduled time, and shift to the second sleep state if an operation from the user is not during a second idle time shorter than the first idle time in the case of becoming the first sleep state after the use end scheduled time and before the use start scheduled time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
