Abstract:
To provide an aqueous ink composition for a reversible thermochromic writing instrument that has good dispersion stability, is excellent in storage stability of the ink composition and when used in writing instrument, is excellent in writing performance, dryness of handwriting and dry-up resistant performance and to provide a writing instrument using the aqueous ink composition.SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition for a reversible thermochromic writing instrument includes two or more kinds of reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigments different in specific gravity, a polymer including a specific structure in the constitutional unit, glycerin, an inorganic salt of a monovalent cation and water.
