Abstract:
To provide a pendulum type vibration control device having a simple and compact structure, and effective for vibration control of a high-rise building against long-period and a long time earthquake vibration.SOLUTION: A pendulum type vibration control device 1 comprises: a fixed frame 2 fixed to a structure; multiple suspension frames 3, 3 concentrically arranged inside the fixed frame 2; a weight 4 arranged in the inner side of the inner side suspension frame 3; and multiple horizontal dampers 5, 5, ... horizontally set between the weight 4 and the inner side suspension frame 3, between the suspension frames 3, and between an outer side suspension frame 3 and the fixed frame 2. On the suspension frames 3, the multiple horizontal dampers 5, 5, ... are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and a pair of inner and outer side horizontal dampers 5, 5 facing each other across the suspension frame 3 are arranged in a V-shape in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
