Abstract:
To reduce a possibility that a switch between a limit state of a touch operation member and a state thereof releasing the limit state might occur in a state with no intention of a user.SOLUTION: An electronic equipment has: a touch operation member that enables a touch operation by a finger of a hand in a state where the hand holds a grip part; control means that, when the touch operation member is in a valid state, implements a specific function in accordance with a first touch operation with respect to the touch operation member, and, when the touch operation member is in a limit state, controls so as not to implement the specific function even if the first touch is performed with respect to the touch operation member; and switching means that, when the touch operation member is in the limit state, controls so as to switch from the limit state to the valid state in accordance with a second touch having been performed in a first area far from the grip part further than a second area in a touch sensing surface of the touch operation member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
