To provide a device which sets a standard item name to an item name used as the same meaning in a plurality of forms.SOLUTION: A standard item name setting device 10 includes: a standard item name storage section 20A which stores information on a standard item name; an item name acquisition section 21 which acquires a plurality of item names described in a plurality of forms; a first classification section 23 which classifies the plurality of item names into one or a plurality of classifications according to types; a second classification section 24A which classifies the item names classified into the classifications according to types into one or a plurality of synonymous item groups on the basis of a degree of synonym; an evaluation section 25 which evaluates a degree of standard of the item names classified into the synonymous item group on the basis of a degree of coincidence with the standard item name stored in the standard item name storage section 20A; a standard item name selection section 27 which selects the standard item name on the basis of the degree of standard from the item names classified into the synonymous item group; and an update section 28 which updates the information in the standard item name storage section 20A on the basis of the standard item name selected by the standard item name selection section 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
