Abstract:
To provide a yarn winding device capable of avoiding defects from being caused in a wax providing device.SOLUTION: A winding unit 3 includes a yarn feeding device 12, a yarn winding device 14, a wax providing device 30, a yarn splicer 26, and a second yarn catching guide 34; the wax providing device 30 includes a support part 42 for supporting a wax molding W, a holding part 44 disposed so as to be movable to a first position P1 for causing the support part 42 to hold the wax molding W and a second position P2 separating from the support part 42 in order to attach and detach the wax molding W in the support part 42, and a regulation part 46 for holding the holding part 44 in the second position P2; the holding part 44 is positioned on an orbit on which the second yarn catching guide 34 is moved in the second position P2 and brought into contact with the second yarn catching guide 34 to thereby be released from holding by the regulation part 46 and moved to the first position P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
