Abstract:
To shorten a length of a secondary air introduction passage, in an internal combustion engine for a saddle-riding type vehicle in which a reed valve is provided in the head cover while being interposed in the middle of the secondary air introduction passage connecting between an air cleaner and an exhaust port disposed above a cylinder head, and a solenoid valve of the secondary air introduction passage is provided between the reed valve and the air cleaner.SOLUTION: In a secondary air introduction device for an internal combustion engine for a saddle-riding type vehicle, a cover member 84 for forming a reed valve chamber 83 storing a reed valve 81 in an interval to a head cover 32 is fitted to the head cover 32, and a solenoid valve 82 is connected to the cover member 84 via a connection pipe 90 and supported by the cover member 84.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
