Abstract:
To prevent the deformation and damage of a garnish arranged at a rear surface lower part of a backdoor main body of a backdoor.SOLUTION: An ornamental garnish 13 extending in a vehicle width direction is fixed to a rear surface lower part of a backdoor main body 12 for opening and closing a rear opening of a vehicle body, both end parts of the garnish in the vehicle width direction are made to face left and right vehicle-width direction inside protrusions 15 formed at a vehicle body rear part, a part of the backdoor main body which is heavy in weight is reduced in weight by the garnish, and a degree of freedom of the design of a vehicle body rear surface can be enhanced compared with the case that the vehicle-width direction inside protrusions are formed at the backdoor side. Both the end parts of the garnish in the vehicle width direction comprise an upper-side protrusion surrounding upper parts of vehicle-width direction inner edges of the vehicle-width direction inside protrusions, and a lower-side protrusion surrounding lower parts of the vehicle-width direction inner edges of the vehicle-width direction inside protrusions. Since a reinforcing plate 18 is overlapped on at least a front face of the lower-side protrusion, the garnish is not deformed nor damaged even if the backdoor is opened and closed by gripping a portion of the garnish by hand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
