Abstract:
To provide a cover structure of an internal combustion engine which can suppress vibration of a cover member caused by vibration of the internal combustion engine, and can suppress vibration of a driving device by improving support rigidity of the driving device.SOLUTION: A chain cover 18 attached to a right end of an engine body 7 includes: a boss 30 extending toward the engine body 7 from a cover 19, and joined on the engine body 7; a rib 41 provided on the cover 19 in such a manner of vertically extending from the boss 30, and connected to an upper wall 19u of the cover 19; and a rib 42 provided on the cover 19 in such a manner of horizontally extending from the boss 30, and connected to a side wall 19A. An opening 19a is surrounded by the boss 30, the rib 41, the upper wall 19u, the side wall 19A, and the rib 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
