Abstract:
To provide an attachment structure of a tensioner unit of a vehicle internal combustion engine which enables improvement of attachment strength of the tensioner unit and reduction of vibration input from the tensioner unit to a cover member.SOLUTION: An engine 7 includes: a motor generator 16 which is installed at the front side part 11a side of a cylinder block 11 and to which power is transmitted from an engine body 9 through a drive belt 41A; a water pump 17 which is attached to an upper protruding part 11A and a lower protruding part 11B and to which power is transmitted from the engine body 9 through a drive belt 41B; and a tensioner unit 43 which adjusts tensile force of the drive belt 41A. The tensioner unit 43 has attachment parts 44B, 44C attached to a chain cover 21. The attachment part 44B is installed between the upper protruding part 11A and the lower protruding part 11B in a height direction of the engine 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
