Abstract:

To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing spreading of even a high viscous liquid on a skin contact surface of a surface sheet, and reducing adhesion of the high viscous liquid to the skin.SOLUTION: There is provided the absorbent article comprising: a liquid permeable surface sheet having a skin contact surface; and an absorber provided on a non-skin contact surface side of the surface sheet, the surface sheet comprises a nonwoven fabric formed of: a plurality of ridge parts which are arranged on the skin contact surface side in a protruded manner, and have a hollow area on the non-skin contact surface side; and bottom parts provided between the adjacent ridge parts. Each ridge part comprises a top part and a wall part for supporting the top part, and the wall part is configured so that, a number of fibers for unit area is smaller than that in the top part and the bottom part, and the top part has hydrophilic property on the surface on the skin contact surface side which is lower than that on the wall part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
