Abstract:
To detect a collision of a vehicle with a collision body with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A vehicle collision detection structure includes: a collision detection sensor 23; a radiator grille (a first member) 12; a radiator support member (a second member)11; and a bracket 17. The radiator grille 12 is configured to form a part of a transmission path of an impact caused by a collision with a collision body C1 in a vehicle 10. The radiator support member 11 forms a part of the transmission path and is disposed at the side (the rear side) away from the collision body C1 further than the radiator grille 12. The bracket 17 is disposed between the radiator grille 12 and the radiator support member 11 and attached to the radiator grille 12 and the radiator support member 11 at front and rear attachment parts 21, 22. The collision detection sensor 23 is attached to a portion of the bracket 17 serving as an attached part, which is spaced away from a radiator grille 12 side end part (a front end part) of the bracket 17 to the radiator support member 11 side (the rear side).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
