Abstract:
To provide a novel method of making an aluminum complex promoting an epoxide carbonylation reaction.SOLUTION: The method for preparing a carbonylation catalyst represented by a formula, including a step of contacting a compound of the formula I with a neutral metal carbonyl compound. In the formula, Q is a nitrogen atom or an oxygen atom which is a part of an independently complexed ligand, optional 2 or more Q groups can constitute a part of single ligand, Rq is selected from optionally substituted Caliphatic and aryl, M is a metal atom, Q' is any ligand, d is an integer of 0 to 8, e is an integer of 1 to 6, w is the number achieving stable anionic metal carbonyl complex, and y is an electric charge of metal carbonyl anion.SELECTED DRAWING: None
