Abstract:
To reduce the amount of snow accumulated in a corner part of a carriage arrangement space to prevent an adverse effect of the falling of snow accumulated in the corner part of the carriage arrangement space.SOLUTION: A snow accumulation preventing device of a railway vehicle includes: a main inclined surface which is arranged to face a carriage at a corner part of a carriage arrangement space and is inclined in a direction of approaching the carriage as going toward the outside of a vehicle width direction; and a sub inclined surface which is arranged at a position exposed downward from a carriage side cover when viewed from the outside in the vehicle width direction and is disposed outside the main inclined surface in the vehicle width direction so as to be inclined in a direction separating from the carriage as approaching the outside of the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
