Abstract:
To provide an electric motor capable of minimizing cogging torque and torque ripple, without compromising work efficiency.SOLUTION: A magnetic substance 12 consists of two permanent magnets 50, 51 divided into two in the rotation axis L1 direction, and placed so that the permanent magnet 51 placed farther in the other rotation axis L1 direction than the permanent magnet 50 placed in one rotation axis L1 direction projects to one side in hoop direction, the two permanent magnets 50, 51 are formed so that both lateral faces 50c, 51c in the hoop direction become parallel with the rotation axis L1 direction. Assuming the angle between a straight L21 connecting the rotation axis L1 direction centers of one lateral faces 50c, 51c in the hoop direction of the two permanent magnets 50, 51, and the rotation axis L1 as skew angle θ1 (θ12), and the polar arc angle of the permanent magnets 50, 51 as θ2, the skew angle θ1 and the polar arc angle θ2 are set to satisfy 5°≤θ1≤18°, 50°≤θ2<70°, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
