Abstract:
To provide a two-phase stainless steel that reduces the risks of deposition of both Al nitride and Cr nitride, harmful deposits, and is excellent in low-temperature toughness.SOLUTION: A two-phase stainless steel contains, in mass%, C: 0.001-0.030%, Si: 0.05-0.5%, S: 0.002% or less, Ni: 6-7.5%, Cr: 23-26%, Mo: 2-4.0%, N: 0.20-0.40%, Al: 0.005-0.03%, Mn: 0.05-0.3% and B: 0.0001-0.0050%, with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities, and is controlled so that an impact value defined in JIS Z2242 is 87.5 J/cmor more at -46±2°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
