Abstract:
To provide a meshing chain and a movable body moving device that can improve a buckling load when chain members are engaged and integrated with each other.SOLUTION: A meshing chain comprises a pair of chain members. The chain members are meshed and integrated with each other by moving in a forward direction Z1, and released by moving in a backward direction Z2. In the chain members, a plurality of link plates 22 and 30 are rotatably connected by connection pins 23 in a pair of pin holes 21 and 29. The link plates 22 and 30 comprise meshing surfaces 25 and 32 and engaging surfaces 27 and 34. When the chain members are meshed with each other, the chain members are meshed with each other on the meshing surfaces 25 and 32, and engaged with each other on the engaging surfaces 27 and 34. The engaging surfaces 27 and 34 are provided with uneven surfaces for restraining a position shift between the link plates 22 and 30 engaged with each other on the engaging surfaces 27 and 34 in a direction in which the engaging surfaces 27 and 34 extend.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
