Abstract:
To provide a swivel mechanism enabling a user to easily lock and unlock swivel operation and a display device.SOLUTION: A swivel mechanism connects a display unit mounting member 200 and a stand mounting member 300 so as to be able to swivel. In the swivel mechanism, a hinge base 101 is mounted to the stand mounting member 300, a hinge plate 102 is mounted to the display unit mounting member 200, and the hinge plate 102 is rotatably supported on the hinge base 101 by bolts 105. A support unit of swivel action is composed of a first support ring 103 that cannot rotate with respect to the hinge base 101 and a second support ring 104 rotatably mounted to the hinge base 101. By rotating the second support ring 104, the first support ring 103 moves in an axial direction of the bolt 105 and is brought into pressure-contact with the hinge plate 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
