Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus capable of reducing amplification of noise due to sharpening while reducing a processing load.SOLUTION: An image processing unit 104 includes: first acquisition means 104a for acquiring noise information related to noise characteristics in an input image generated by shooting using an optical system 101; second acquisition means 104b for acquiring a sharpening filter in a real space on the basis of the optical characteristics of the optical system 101; and third acquisition means 104c for acquiring gain information of the sharpening filter on the basis of a component of the sharpening filter. The image processing unit 104 performs a sharpening process on the input image on the basis of the noise information and the gain information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
