Abstract:
To provide a panel body and hollow structure making it possible to readily ensure reinforcement performance of a vehicle even when plural reinforcement members are employed.SOLUTION: A first reinforcement member 21 of a panel body 11 to be employed for the purpose of structuring a vehicle includes a first foamable member 22 serving as a first foamable body, a first cover member 23 shielding the first foamable member 22, and a first fixation member 24 that fixes the first cover member 23 to a constituent panel P1. A second reinforcement member 31 includes a second foamable member 32 serving as a second foamable body, a second cover member 33, and a second fixation member 34. The first foamable member 22 and second foamable member 32 are disposed to form a foamable body having a junction foamable part that includes in its orthogonal section, which is orthogonal to a longitudinal direction, at least part of a composition plane between the first foamable body and second foamable body, and a non-junction foamable part that does not include the composition plane in its orthogonal section. The panel body 11 forms an orthogonal section, which is smaller than the orthogonal section of the junction foamable part, in the non-junction foamable part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
