Abstract:
To provide a binding device that prevents an increase in applied load which is applied to a sheet bundle by a pair of tooth forms even when the number of sheets of the sheet bundle increases.SOLUTION: A binding device comprises a pair of tooth forms having a first tooth form and a second tooth form, and sandwiching a sheet bundle and transforming it into an uneven shape by relative movement of the first tooth form in a direction approaching the second tooth form, and movement volume controlling means for decreasing relative movement volume of the first tooth form to the second tooth form when the number of sheets of the sheet bundle increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
